Gayle DeBrosse is a restaurant industry veteran with more than 16 years experience in restaurant management and support. As president of Southern California-based Koo Koo Roo, DeBrosse oversees domestic restaurant operations, as well as training, advertising and marketing, research and development, and human resources. She is also integrally involved in new restaurant openings and directs strategic planning. |
| Before being named president of Koo Koo Roo, DeBrosse served as Senior Vice President for Family Restaurants, Inc. and was responsible for the quality assurance, purchasing, distribution, and public affairs functions in the company. Prior to joining Family Restaurants in 1994, DeBrosse was director of product development and continuous improvement for Taco Bell Corp., where she held several director level positions. Before her position with Taco Bell, DeBrosse spent nine years with Flagstar as director of research and development where she managed the quality assurance and new product development functions for Denny’s and El Pollo Loco. DeBrosse received a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Arizona State University in 1979 and an MS in Agribusiness with an emphasis in Food Science, Quality Assurance, and Food Chemistry from Arizona State University in 1982. DeBrosse serves as an acting member of the Institute of Food Technologists and Roundtable for Women in Foodservice. In addition, DeBrosse serves on the advisory board for Healthy Dining and volunteers for Working Wardrobes. |
